One of my favorite things about tour is the group chat. Some people hate group chats, and I get that - they blow up your phone at all hours and can often devolve into a relative you barely know airing out their personal business, making you feel awkward and unsure how to respond. Mute!
Not so with Tour Chat, at least in my opinion. I love Tour Chat because it involves relevant practical information (“remember check out is at 11”), keeping track of your tour mates (“i got lost on the way to the bathroom, plz send help”), opportunities (“donuts in the green room!!!!”), and memes (“i didn’t know i needed to see a frog in stilettos until now”). Renaming the Tour Chat with references to group jokes is also an incredible way to memorialize the weirdness of tour.

… and many more that have been lost to the sands of time. Sometimes a Tour Chat Name changes once a day, or even once an hour (overkill tbh). It’s a very silly way to communicate, and I’m very excited to continue the tradition of making minor jokes and incidents into a huge thing.
